Hi All,
Just getting around to organising this years ski trip (10th February [after work] to Sunday 19th February
2012 - 14 places in the minibus). To secure a seat in
the minibus you will need to agree to the points below and pay
a deposit. The cost is approximately £330
for transport, accommodation and breakfast and I will
return any unspent amount immediately upon our return (Expect
about £50 back).
By applying for a place you are agreeing to:
1/ Being a full member of Liverpool Canoe Club
2/ Providing a Medical Consent form:
3/ Take full responsibility for deciding to ski. You (or the
person acting in `loco parentis` if under 18), will be responsible
for deciding to ski each day. There is always a risk of loss
or injury in any sport and you will need to be sure that you
have the personal skills to cope as part of an informal group
or book into ski school.
4/ To secure a place in the minibus the cost of the trip has
to be paid in full. There are no refunds and if you later find
that you are unable to go, it is your responsibility to sell
your place on the bus. You also have to
agree to paying for your share of the trailer if it is destroyed
or stolen (total loss). About £200 each as I have
to leave a security cheque for £3000 before I take the
trailer). You will only be asked for money if I loose the security
deposit.
5/ This year each person on the minibus
will be limited to 20kgs total baggage. It will be weighed
before going on the minibus and is required to keep the weight
legal.
