Lower Treweryn

I am planning an open boat trip down the Lower Treweryn on Sunday 9th March subject to water conditions, i.e. a release from the dam! (If no release or too much release then plans will have to change - more information as available)

There is no coach cover on this trip and I regret to advise that as such I am unable to take responsibility for anyone else - I am still learning opens in this environment. The trip is therefore only open to adults who can look after themselves, and if necessary me, on this type and grade of river.

This trip is NOT suitable as an introduction to moving water as the river is continuous G2+/3, is quite tight and technical, and will probably involve a portage unless you fancy running onsight G4. (There will be intro trips later in the year for those that are interested). Whilst I am aware that some open boaters do not like wearing helmets, as organiser I would advise that they are mandatory on this trip.
