Farndon
to Chester (Grade 1 Canoe Trip)
An easy river trip suitable for all boats (Kayaks and Opens).
A flat water cruise, ideal for a day out with the younger members
of the club, or anyone who doesn't do moving water. Pleasant
driftthrough Cheshire.
An excellent view of Iron Bridge (carrying one of the drives
into Lord Grosvenor's estate at Eton Hall). There are often anglers
about but we have never had any grief. It is possible to get
out at the car park by the river in Eccleston.
Farndon to Eccleston = 8Km
Fardon to Chester = 12Km
