M6 North to Junction 36. Follow the A590 to Newby Bridge and then
onto Greenodd. Turn right onto the A5092 to Lowick Green (Signed
to Coniston). At Lowick Green take a right turn and follow the
A5084 to Torver. Turn right and follow A593 north (passing the
Lake) towards Coniston. At the small village of Bowick take a
small single track road through the houses down to the lake shore
and Coniston Old Hall farm building. You will need to check in
and obtain a key for the barrier.
Please note that it will be very busy so you are advised to book.
We will all try and camp together near one of the tracks / gates
to the lake shore. Please look for other
club members before pitching as this is a very large site.
BBQ on Saturday Night. Activitities include: Lake trips, possible
local rivers and sea trip, surf?? at Walney Island, Hill walking,
Mountain Biking and Sailboarding.
