Meet at the Ship Inn Burscough, on Wheat Lane at 9.30am as its a lengthy shuttle. It backs onto the canal where Rufford Branch starts. Finish at Wigan Pier by George Orwell Pub, Wigan. Depending on who is paddling we may leave a car at Appley Bridge or thereabouts. Please let Frank Vaughan know if you are planning on paddling.
