A loop is where the boat is pitched vertical on a wave or
in a hole. (Also common in traditional kayak surfing)
This Move can be extended into a "sky-rocket" or
"pop-out" if the bouyancy of the kayak is allowed to
eject the kayak skywards.
Full Loop (floop) - Bow stall, once stable bounce the
boat up and down. If you get enough height and still have your
balance, aggressively tuck for the loop as you would in a hole
and follow the same procedure. If when you resurface, you are
facing the same direction, then you've looped! Perhaps with enough
bounce and a small enough boat you could get aerial! See it on video! To the right is an example
of a paddle-less floop!
This is a basic vertical move, using the downward force of the
upstream face ofa wave or hole to stand the boat on end. This
is done by placing the bow of the boat in the upstream wave.
1. Paddle forward and maintain good directional control.
2. Same as (1)
3. As the bow begins entry, stay parallel to the direction of
the current.
4. The bow of the boat is buried in the upstream wave.
5. Keep your boat parallel to the current.
6. Keeping your head up helps to prevent the boat from flopping
over upside down. For an Ender to finish upside down, keep the
head forward
