this boat is a nice stable boat and easy to cartwheel, play in holes and on

approx 5 years old and in really good condition.
white deck
with a white hull, red trim, including seat, not seen one similar myself,
which is a bonus if ever it was stolen, as is quite distinctive, (one of the
many reasons i bought her)
has a karitec skeg, but not hydro,
never had a problem with skeg works as good as new,
better than the old ndk skegs
ever worked.
she has
been used but not as much as she should have been and not as much as I would
have liked.
was stored
in doors for 2 years and stored under cover past 3,until recently, when tarp
blew away
she does
have scratches on the hull but none more than would be expected, and I am
afraid a small, (about size of the tip of your little finger) chip in the gel
coat on the sharp edge of the front keel (see photo) not repaired cause does
not go through to matting, and would cover up when, if you fitted a keel strip.
is
absolutely bone dry in all hatches, I fitted breathing tubes which prevent the hatch
covers expanding by allowing air to move through bulkhead but not water, thus
preventing wear on covers and keeps holds dry.

of black Thule roof racks that fit on cars with roof rails with 4 sets of keys.
I bought them off eBay for my Saab estate but they are too wide. The feet do
slide to adjust to different widths, but are too wide for my car. Great
condition but some rubber missing off one foot, still attaches to roof rails
though as tried them on a Volkswagen Touran and they
fitted perfectly.

This is an old design but has a
modified fixed skeg so is perfectly balanced with a
beam wind. It has a foam seat for
extended expeditions, 3 x Valley storage hatches (all water tight) and a
Henderson foot pump fitted (worth on its own over £100) £450 no offers. (worth about £800)
This kayak would suit a smaller
paddler 60-80kg (although I still paddle it and I am well over this).
Advantages: the price,
strong diolen hull and deck, 3 Valley hatches, foot
pump fitted, under 5metres so easy to store, external keel strip for
protection, fast boat.
Disadvantages: Round
Valley hatches (9 inch) are small so packing needs to be done inside boat,
Cockpit is smaller than modern keyhole cockpits but bigger than an ocean
cockpit.

living room this is a nearly new boat - only one scrape of note (rock hopping
around Anglesey) this is a gem of a boat - can cope
with grade 3 water due to its build quality - will take enough gear for a
weekend camp - very forgiving and stable - paddles on rails with the skeg down but responsive when up -
the 'bad Ass, seat is amazing, you can paddle for hours with no real effect on
the rear end - comes with spray deck and front air bag - for quick sale

Don't be a muppet
who just tags along without thought for the group, be a useful member of any
group trip on the sea - always wear a sea kayaking tow line!
And it just so happens that I have
such a towline for sale, immaculate condition, only used on three trips, always
rinsed after wearing and never used in anger - £30. Selling because I
have ended up with two sea kayak tow lines, but only one waist. Shops retail at
£40.
Probably the most comfortable tow
line I have ever seen / used, and very low profile so it does not impede
general paddling or getting back in if its all gone wrong.

suited to smaller paddlers, the Avocet LV has the same versatility of the
regular Avocet and is one of the few genuinely small kayaks that makes a
playful and fun day boat for lighter paddlers.
Like
the regular Avocet it was developed from the popular Valley Pintail but
improved to provide better tracking and more forgiveness yet retaining its
original lively handling.

Our
kayak box trailer was stolen at 21:36 last Friday 16th December.
Details are as follows, but we have CCTV film of the thieves using bolt cutters
to gain entry through the gates to the centre. They were very well prepared and
had little difficulty removing the security devices securing the trailer. The
thieves also removed the registration plate which suggests they had their own
to match the vehicle used to tow the trailer away.

There is customised racking inside the trailer designed to hold 18
kayaks (horizontally) on three rails as well as a storage cupboard (again
customised) at the front of the trailer which houses an electrical 2-way
consumer unit, power inverter and 13 amp socket. Entry to the rear of the trailer
is via a full height rolling shutter door. The floor to ceiling height is
7’ the roof of which contains two extractor fans designed to extract
moisture from inside. Combing this feature with the twin axle and overall size
of the trailer makes it very noticeable from the outside.

– A new open canoe has been taken along with some of the kit for it and
an outboard motor! Open Canoe recovered by police from Wirral
Auction but outboards still missing
Tonight a break-in was discovered at the
boathouse. Our brand new (not actually used yet) open canoe has been taken along
with some of the kit for it and every outboard motor! They came in through the
roof, have spent some time removing all the security locks on the engines and
have opened up the doors to get stuff out. The Police believe this has happened
within the last couple of day as some other high value kit had not been taken.
All the this gear, including all the new kayaks, has now been moved.
