suited to smaller paddlers, the Avocet LV has the same versatility of the
regular Avocet and is one of the few genuinely small kayaks that makes a
playful and fun day boat for lighter paddlers.
Like the
regular Avocet it was developed from the popular Valley Pintail but improved to
provide better tracking and more forgiveness yet retaining its original lively

This boat is in excellent condition with a few minor
cosmetic scratches on the hull, caused when launching / landing; and a few
scratches on the deck. The photos, however, show how good condition it is in.

These boats are sold for £1995 new (albeit with
rudder).
The boat is an ideal craft for a novice / improver, ideally
upgrading to a glass fibre kayak.
Primary stability is superb and secondary stability even
better. I am 6'4" and 15 stone, and this boat easily accommodates my size.
My daughter (5'3" / 8 stone) can also handle this easily.
It tracks superbly well with the skeg
and edges very well. With the skeg up and on edge,
you can turn it very tightly indeed. The streamlined shape means that it has
never weather-cocked; and it eats up open crossings. There is ample room for
gear, with the 4 hatches; and I have done several multi-day trips in

It has some light scuffs and scratches to the hull from occasional use. It is kept garaged so has not been exposed to the elements and is in overall great shape.
This boat has a large cockpit and adjustable footpegs and is suitable for almost any size paddler.

is a really stable solid sea kayak and it's been well looked after. It has been
washed inside and out after every trip and stored inside. There isn't much wear
on the hull. The skeg is the cable type and is very
smooth.

in excellent condition apart from a small leak in the bulkhead between the
cockpit and day hatch. I'm sure it could be repaired with sealant though.

trailer was stolen at 21:36 last Friday 16th December. Details are as
follows, but we have CCTV film of the thieves using bolt cutters to gain entry
through the gates to the centre. They were very well prepared and had little
difficulty removing the security devices securing the trailer. The thieves also
removed the registration plate which suggests they had their own to match the
vehicle used to tow the trailer away.

There is
customised racking inside the trailer designed to hold 18 kayaks (horizontally)
on three rails as well as a storage cupboard (again customised) at the front of
the trailer which houses an electrical 2-way consumer unit, power inverter and
13 amp socket. Entry to the rear of the trailer is via a full height rolling
shutter door. The floor to ceiling height is 7’ the roof of which
contains two extractor fans designed to extract moisture from inside. Combing
this feature with the twin axle and overall size of the trailer makes it very
noticeable from the outside.

They are brand new carbon nomad blades, they have a carbon kevlar

20/10/11 Stolen – A new open canoe has been
taken along with some of the kit for it and an outboard motor! Open
Canoe recovered by police from Wirral Auction but outboards still missing
Tonight a break-in was discovered at the
boathouse. Our brand new (not actually used yet) open canoe has been taken
along with some of the kit for it and every outboard motor! They came in
through the roof, have spent some time removing all the security locks on the
engines and have opened up the doors to get stuff out. The Police believe this
has happened within the last couple of day as some other high value kit had not
been taken. All the this gear, including all the new kayaks, has now been
moved.

kayaks from
I'm contacting you in the hope that you might be able to circulate
an email to your members, regarding two boats that were stolen from the roof of
my car in Chester on Sunday night (14th march). The boats are:
1 x Pyranha Burn L yell/jaffa
1 x Pyranha Molan M Pink/grey
Both are very distinctive and I have the serial numbers for both. Should anyone
have any info on the boats could they please contact either the police (crime
number cc10072631) or myself (07974245708).

to go to Mile End Mill). It is a Liquid Logic 06 Hoss,
