Willis is a journalist, who worked for BBC Look North
(North East and Cumbria) from 1983 until 1999 as a reporter and
presenter before moving to BBC Scotland as a reporter and presenter
on Newsnight Scotland until 2009. He is a regular contributor
to The Great Outdoors Magazine. In 2006 Simon began Podcasting
interviews with Sea Kayakers about expeditions, favourite routes
and issues of interest at SeaKayakPodcasts.com.
Simon now runs Sunart Media, a video productions company based
